The Hampton Jitney is the easiest way to travel to our wedding by public transportation! The Jitney picks passengers up in Manhattan and will bring you directly to the North Ferry terminal in Greenport.
Another method of travel to Greenport is by taking the LIRR from Penn Station in Manhatan. This option will also bring you directly to the North Ferry terminal, but could take longer than the Hampton Jitney.
The best way to get to Greenport from New England is via the Cross Sound Ferry in New London, CT. Drive on, stretch your legs, and enjoy the gorgeous views of the Sound that will save you over 200 miles of driving!
If you're flying into town for our wedding, the most convenient airport is MacArthur. Located in Ronkonkoma, MacArthur Airport is only a 15 minute cab ride to the Ramada Plaza in Holtsville.
Shuttle service will be provided to those staying in Holtsville. The ride is 50 minutes one way. There will be a shuttle leaving to bring guests to the North Ferry terminal in Greenport before the ceremony. Another shuttle will be leaving Holsville at 4PM to bring guests to the cocktail hour and reception. On the way back there will be a shuttle leaving after the reception.
To get to our ceremony in Shelter Island everyone must get on the North Ferry in Greenport. Cars are permitted. The ferry ride is 10 minutes. From there it is a 2 minute drive or a 8 minute walk to the church. The Ferry Can hold about 20 cars, not everyone driving will be able to get on the ferry at one time so be sure to get there early if your're bringing your vehicle. Round trip vehicle and driver is $16.00. Additional vehicle passengers each way are $2.00. Foot passengers each way are $2.00. Cash only. Free parking is available at the ferry terminals and the church.
The ceremony will begin prompty at 2:00PM at Our Lady of the Isle Roman Catholic Church in Shelter Island Heights. The church is a 2 minute drive or a 8 minute walk from the North Ferry terminal in Shelter Island. There is plenty of parking at the church. Following the ceremony, guests should make their way back to the ferry and head back over to Greenport. There will be about an hour in between the ceremony and cocktail hour. Downtown Greenport boasts many local shops, cafes, and bars. There is also a waterfront park which hosts the famous antique Greenport Carousel.
Cocktail hour will begin at 5PM at 200 4th Street in Greenport. Dinner and dancing will follow at 6PM. Be sure to bring your drinking pants and dancing shoes! There will be oyster shucking, lawn games, ice cream and more. Remember to use our official hashtag on Instagram! #TatRadWed
For those of you still wearing your drinking pants, we will be making our way over to the Whiskey Wind Tavern in downtown Greenport for the after party. Whiskey Wind is a very classy watering hole complete with a pool table, foosball, a juke box, and delicious bar bites!

We encourage guests to book their stay near the reception in Greenport or Shelter Island, and recommend looking into VRBO and AirBnB. Booking to stay at a local house or apartment is oftentimes much more affordable than traditional hotel accomodations in the area.
There are also many amazing boutique hotels and B&B's in Greenport that can be booked individually if you prefer more traditional accomodations.
